Hymn Tune HYFRYDOL

This hymn tune can be used with dozens of existing hymns. The "lead sheet" has the melody and chords in 3 keys (C, D, E). This is a well-loved hymn tune because it is easy and fun to sing. The keys I've provided are all LOWER than the hymnal so there are no high notes. Any hymn text using "87 87 D" will work with HYFRYDOL! Try singing in one key and go up for last verse. Use the tag endings and intros to give your voices a break between verses and time to reflect on the words. Click to download printed music.
