Basics:
submit song recording in mp3 format
submit lyrics and chords in PDF format
song length recommendation: between 2:30-4:00
no restrictions on lyric text, poetry
music and text must be original
song writers must be member of a WELS/ELS church or enrolled at Luther Prep, MLC, Bethany, etc.
Details:
Creators retain copyright of their original material.
CLA has permission to use the song audio, printed sheet music, images of the entrant, and video interviews on CLA website and CLA YouTube.
CLA has permission to publish an album containing song and hymn entries to online streaming services and physical compact discs.
CLA has permission to record performances of each song and hymn.
Song Contest judges are selected by CLA
